Evening everyone,

Shaun Reid is the 10th former Chester player to speak to My Time In Football about his playing career.

I had a good chat with Shaun last week shortly before he took training with his Warrington Town side, best known for their FA Cup heroics last season.

Shaun spoke to me about his long career, which included a spell at Chester in the 90s, which coincided with the arrival of T***y S***h - "the nutcase American".

Any Chester fans on Facebook/Twitter, please feel free to mention the interview to other Chester supporters.

Hope you enjoy the article.

When I think of Shaun Reid I always think of that Granada relegation season documentary (would love to see it again but not sure if any copies exist?). I seem to remember there was a clip where T***y S***h was in the dressing room doing all his offense/defense/positive thinking/praise the lord nonsense before a game, and after he walked out an obviously disgusted Reid said something to the team along the lines of ignore all that bollox and just tackle hard and take the legs off the bastards biggrin.gif

Great interview. One of my favourite players of that era. A good footballer, who gave everything. I'll never forget him getting kicked in the face at port vale and breaking his jaw!

Nice one Shaun. I hope you manage to get Warrington up this season.
