I am a life long fan of the club and read this forum regularly but rarely post. However I have a big problem and I need some help or advice.

My 18 year old daughter sat me and my missus down and told us she was seeing a Chester FC player and is pregnant. I won't name names as I assume I am not allowed. The player who she has been seeing has blanked her since she told him she was expecting. He has blocked her off his mobile and we have found that the place he was taking her to was a flat he borrowed and not his home. It turns out he is living with his long term partner and children.

My daughter is on the injection so this is a shock to her and her family. She naturally wants to speak to the babies father to see where she stands but we have no way of contacting him. The club has been contacted about this situation and are no help at all.

I'm at a loss where to go or what to do next.

I'm waiting for the punch line...

Seriously, what the hell has this got to do with the club? If the bloke concerned worked at Tesco would you be contacting the board or the shareholders to see what they were going to do about it? Obviously this has b****r all to do with an employer, and in fairness if all this IS true then for the sake of your family it really shouldn't be discussed on a public forum should it?

The poor girl can't sleep at night and its breaking my heart. He has filled her head with nonsense about loving her and setting up home with her. She just wants to talk to him, if he told her he didn't want her she would have an abortion and get on with her life. Me and her mother have told her he doesn't want her or the baby, but shes in love and wont listen. I want him to speak to my daughter and tell her where he stands so she can get on with her life. Bar coming to a game and letting her stand by the dugouts I can't think of a way for her to speak to him about their baby.

Reading between the lines, I understand the termination date for the pregnancy is sometime in May 2014.

Perhaps when the father has returned to the security of his family, he will maybe have time to think and afford your daughter some attention albeit not on a full time basis.

Incidentally, how long have you known about this 3 year relationship? I'm sure they had great times together with romantic trips around the North of England.
As we all know, most relationships go through testing times and don't stick to the intended plan and the romance can die off at times. An honest and committed relationship can sometimes turn sour for some.

Being a single parent and on low income will be difficult but with the right support needn't be a disaster.

If you, your wife and daughter stay patient, strong and united, I believe that the pregnancy will in the end deliver you with a healthy baby for you all to enjoy for many years long after the father has left the area.

Good luck !

You could always sell your story to the press.

In fact, please do and any money you raise could you please gladly donate to the club so we can invest in some quality players.

Silver linings and all that.

Thanks in advance.

I wonder if Lupus has been telling folk that he actually plays for Chester as one of his chat up lines?

The baby could look like this.

Could you let us know whether the player is here on loan. That would be us using our 50/50 but we'd still have our phone a friend and ask the audience..

What's she looking for compensation off the club?. I would assume she is over the legal age of consent so why post on a public forum?.
