1st derby I'm missing this century due to other commitments but from 90 miles away from proceedings I'm going for a 2-0 win purely because these young guns of ours will have a derby match mentality and scrap for everything against a team of loanees who despite Keates efforts will not understand the enormity of winning ,Shaw and Alabi to score and 4,123 in the congregation. cityscarf.gif

Having seen my first game last week after a six week break I was all set for the big one, then the phone goes at 6 o'clock this morning. It was the daughter saying she had gone into labour which means I have the two grandchildren until the wife who's the birth partner gets back from hospital. Having grandchild number 7 is a wonderful thing but why did he have to choose today to arrive, I am on pins now will it happen in time so I can make the game😀

I did suggest we name him after the first goal scorer today but that went down like a lead balloon😀

The official site's Live Text suggested he was a bit unlucky, sold short by a poor Vassell pass.

Harsh second yellow IMO and Vassell's dreadful pass caused it.

Southport well beaten at home by North Ferriby !

Copied from "Port Chat":

we will win something this year....a place in the Guinness book of records for most players used in a season.

pleased we are 'evolving' the team but next season let's have some stability..

Tilt and Jennings both sent off for fighting at final whistle. Straight reds so 3 match bans?
