So Ryan Lowe leaves Tranmere with Championship clubs interested and re-signs for Bury. 35 yrs old but can still do a job in Div 2(4). I am guessing good for 15-20 goals next season.
Michael Coulson has signed a new 2yr deal at York City.
Still no news on where the Turner twins are heading or Craig Curran.
Laurence Wilson and George Miller released by Accy.

Still to early for most clubs to offer deals so lets see what June brings.

Carl Rogers and Matty Doughty have both left Alty. Rogers is heading down under and Matty is having a scan on his knee before deciding his future. (2 broken legs and cruciate injury during his career).

Phil Bolland who was at Airbus last season is hanging up his boots. Great player for us back in the day.

From Lincoln City fans on Non League Forum. They seem desperate to hold on to Sean Newton, who is being coveted by several other clubs.

Sean Newton played a couple of games for us after coming through the youth system. Played left back and I remember he did well before being shipped out to Droylsden by you-know-who. Solid and dependable when I've seen him against us.

Has Roberts been released by Cambridge? Another ex-Chester youth player, who I'd like to see back here one day.

Just realised my gaffe. Thought he meant Kevin Roberts.

Sadly Gary Roberts, great player that he is/was needs to ask himself why his career keeps stalling.

Matty Taylor scored twice for England C vs Sparta Prague B.

Come on SB, get him back on loan if you can.

Can't see it happening to be honest, conference north will be a drop too far for a player of his quality.

Gary Roberts was with Connah's Quay Nomads at the end of last season. Along with Luke Holden.

Looks like Kevin Roberts has been released by Cambridge Utd. If only we could sign him.

That's tough on him, I thought he played well in the play-off final. I think he'd be ok in league 2, certainly strong enough, maybe not fast enough...

Adam Boyes signs for Guiseley after scoring 15 in 24 games for them while on loan last season. On top of the signings of Toulson and Lowe from Halifax, they are shaping up to have a good team.

Freddie Eastwood has had a long career as a striker in Football League based on a couple of good seasons with Southend back in late 90s. I remember a goal he scored for them in a 2-2 draw at Deva when he was on the ground and a shot hit him on the a**e and went in.

Daniel Lloyd Weston walks out on Hereford. Voted player of the season, lives in Alsager and has played for England C so should be well known to SB. Could he be our No. 1 next season?

Interesting piece in the latest edition of 442 magazine on ex Chester City player Ashley Westwood. Now coaching in India and has taken unfancied Bangalore to the top of the league there. Comes across very well. His playing budget is about twice ours was last season and they get crowds of about 6,000.
