Definitely an absolutely huge fixture, I hope everyone gets down the ground to support the lads and don't sit at home and watch the manc derby.

It's tough to call any of our matches in recent weeks. We should have beaten Southport after going 2 up, but could have easily have lost in the end. I didn't give us a chance in hell at Luton, but we very nearly pulled off a result with a weakened team.

When we had Taylor, I was confident that we could beat any team. But since he left, I am feeling increasingly pessimistic about our chances, especially with the bad luck we've been having.

I suppose we should remember that Tamworth will be under even more pressure than us to win tonight, so I think it's going to be a nervy game for both teams.

At least Jessy Reindorf is injured. He's the big guy they brought on in the return fixture when we were 4-1 up and he single-handedly got them back to 4-3.

I'd go for;

Chapman

L.Turner-Kay-Brown-Heath

Rooney-Jarrett-Bond-Menagh

Seddon-Peers

I know Peers is young and inexperienced but he's got pace and that's what we need as Hobson and Seddon are similar hold-the-ball up types.

if we win this then we are 11 points clear of Tamworth with only 7 games left; so they would need to win 4 just to catch us
a draw is no good so let's get at them and let the Harry Mac cheer us to victory

Tamworth are still decimated by injuries, but the fly in the ointment may be Wrexham's on loan attacking midfielder Kevin Thornton who has a bad time himself with injuries, but is now playing at his best and scored for them on Saturday....

Take those injury problems with a pinch of salt.

Wouldn't mind betting that most of those 'injured' players appear tonight.

If Seddon is definitely out then we have to go with Hobson and peers. We can't play just one striker, we need to attack from the off.

If Tamworth play dirty like Southport did, i hope we meet their 'professionallism' and do some falling down in the box tongue.gif
