Glance at the League One table and you wonder why he's even considering it. He would be moving down to Brighton in every sense wacko.gif

Reading the League Portal forum, it would seem that there are all sorts of problems behind the scenes at Stockport. One fan says the supporters may need to raise £250K to ensure the club stays in business

Hard to believe a club that gets 5 or 6 thousand every week that can sell players for 600k are in so much trouble. How the hell did they let their debt get so high, especially after selling their ground???

Thanks for all the concern about Sir James but the great man has turned down Brighton to stay loyal to the County.

if we aren't relegated ourselves then ye, i have been planning for a while to take him to a Seagulls game for his 50th - he hasn't seen them in a very long time, since moving north.

Think he said the job was untenable to make the Board sit up and take notice ?

The Brighton job too. I wonder was he really interested in it ?
