Just to give a bit of perspective to the upcoming derby match, I cant really see any more than three options for the yes vote, obviously there are a few reasons for a no vote.

Not intended to stir up a hornets nest, but the result may give the board some answers for future games.

i would like to go but not being a season ticket holder i doubt that i will get a ticket. As i am at glyndwr uni i could get one but i would have to sit in the wrexham end so not an option to me so looks like i may miss this one

Not sure as of yet. Only 4 days of general sale I believe? A bit p**s poor considering how long we've known about the game.

Very p**sed off about how this has been handled by ALL involved - both the clubs and police.

Mods
Not sure what happened to the poll, I have tried to add it twice now but it keeps disappearing.

Could one of you kind folks please add this to the thread

Yes-Bubble match does not bother me
Yes- Do not agree with it being a bubble match though
Yes- I will be going in the home end
No- Cant make it whatever
No-On principle will not attend
No-Too expensive
No- Arrangement has made getting ticket impossible
No- Other

Many thanks

No, I won't be going. And if the board play along with the Police's games for the home game, I won't bother with that one either.

Wonder what the arrangements for that game will be? All home fans to meet at Vauxhall Motors and be bused in from there?

Deffo going, not going to miss this one because of a minor (and it is really) inconvenience. Civil liberty this and police state that is just an excuse not to go, not a reason. This will probably be the only away game I'll go to, how can you not want to go, imagine if we win. I mean, bloody hell......

Not got season ticket so not likely to get a ticket and don't appreciate some robocop telling me where I can catch a bus and what I can't do whilst they all cover up or removed their id numbers and are itching for trouble. Not an excuse not missed a derby home or away since the 70's but this has just p**sed me off

Ffs, this is down to the NWP, don't start blaming the club.

I'll be going although I did consider not going. Haven't missed a match home or away since Lancaster City, so want to keep that run going. More importantly my team needs my support. If nobody went that would suit NWP and Wrexham FC (team, not club). I do agree with the poster that said the Derby is finished. Can't ever see it going back to the way it was in the good old days.

I can't believe the amount of people who aren't going. It's the derby! Since we went bust I've been looking forward to this game. Yes, it's a pain in the ass that you have to go to Chester but as it's an early kick off it doesn't really change anything anyway. The lads need our support and we might just win. I simply can't miss it.

Does anyone know if the vouchers will be on sale to ST holders after the game tomorrow?

I will be going, but I can understand why people don't want their rights compromised to go to a football match. 700 Chester fans going to the game may or may not feel safer, whether it's worth all of this to find out; I'm not so sure.

How does the fact that it's two non league teams change things ? Doesn't matter what league we play them
In, there's still gonna be massive interest in the game and always the potential for trouble. Being two non league
Sides won't alter the fact.

I would love to go. If I had the freedom to choose to go on the day, to travel when and how I please, to suit my lifestyle, then I would definately be there.

The 'All Ticket' decision, 1200 ticket allocation, all the faffing with the police and their bubble removes too much of my liberty. The whole exercise makes it too much trouble.

I'm now left with a three way decision

  • Comply with Instuctions
  • Break the Law
  • Don't attend

Option one doesn't sit right with me, I refuse to be herded. IF I can get there MY way, I'll be there.
One thing IS certain, I won't be in, on, or around any bubble. cityscarf.gif
