I would like to know if several hundred Chester fans are going to be expected to stand in a queue for 30/40 minutes in the cold and driving rain as was the case last year. Could we have tickets available to buy at the Swansway. I've not missed a league game for nearly 4 years, but I won't be repeating this at what was the dearest away ground last season.

Agreed , a very poor show by Macclesfield . Nobody should have to stand in a huge queue to get into a ramshackle stadium that is never filled to capacity . And lets face it ,it never does anything else but rain in Macclesfield .the club is sowing a total lack of respect for its customers

Remember the day at Macc just before we went out of the league in Smiths era. Bloody soaked to the skin and the pitch resembled a swimming pool in the corner.

There is a great piece on YouTube I think of that day, including ttalking about he naked streaker diving in the puddle near the visiting supporters end. Got soaked that day and we so deserved to win, not draw. Would have kept us up as well!

What about when they got promoted and beat us 3-2 and Rod Thomas belted one in from 40 yards,

At a stadium like Moss Rose, it does seem incredibly silly not to just let people pay at the turnstile.

The lack of hassle in getting entry to games is one of the biggest draws of following clubs of our size.

the queues last season were mentioned at a Safety Advisory group meeting and our SAG Chair had an action point to discuss what happened with his East Cheshire equivalent to see if arrangements could be fine tuned.

Is there any more on this. This match is less than 2 weeks away and it seems that last year's awful poor management of entry into the ground is going to be repeated. If there's a bad weather forecast I doubt I'll go.

You'd probably be better off contacting Macc.

Excellent, will definitely pick up a ticket before travelling as I missed the kick off last time. Don't forget wet weather gear everyone, it always persists down at Macc crying.gif
