We had a great chance to beat them today, honestly how poor do they have to be until we beat them?

First Half was even and we controlled most of the second half, but unlike previous games such as Bradford we actually created lots of good chances but just couldn't put any of them away.

Shooting Practice next week Bobby!

Pleased we havn't lost but puzzled to how we havn't won.

John Murphy was a big, big loss.

Kevin Ellison is not a striker.

Paul McManus is nowhere near ready yet.

The game was always going to be difficult - it's a derby so form and the league table goes out the window, they have a new manager and we haven't won in the league there for 30 years.

That's why you must be doing so well in the league.

Essentially, if Richie Partridge knew how to square a ball, we would have won, and Yeo and Ellison both would have got on the scoresheet.

I think you are right on this one, he is not ready yet. Maybe we should of tried to send him out on loan to a BSP team.

And yours was 'one steve mclaren', lol. How did Wales get on in the Euro qualifiers? Heard you got a great result away at cyprus, after starting the group with a 5-1 loss at home to Slovakia??? then you beat the MIGHTY San Marino 2-1, when they were down to 10 men.

That was your best chance in my living history for Chester to beat Wxm and you blew it!

Some of you lot were so confident that you predicted 3-0 and even 4-0.

Bottom of the league and you couldn't beat us!

It certainly was our best chance of beating your boys, but anybody who seriously thought or expected a thumping win like that are deluded. It was always going to be a difficult game, as the form book and the league table counts for nothing on derby day.

I thought it wasn't a bad result considering we had to take 3 players off, start with a kid and bring another kid on, add Murphy not playing and not all that bad, had we not been forced to sub experienced players who knows what would have happened??!!

the last time they beat us we enjoyed unmitigated success and ended up in the 2nd Div (Championship) with a side containing 8 Welsh internationals.

so even then we made sure the vistory was bittersweet!

oh well, good result for everton which i'm sure is of more concern to the majority of jester 'fans'. do they still have the club shop in YOUR city?

That would be a reasonable point, but you were technically playing the worst team in the league.

I don't think you will play against a Wr**h*m side this bad again.

I think we all accept that local derbies very rarely reflect form or skill. Anyway it's over and we have a few months before the return fixture, time to get back to talking about football and not who has the worst fans!!

Swings and roundabouts, look at the season we were at the bottom and you were top 8 and beat you at home 2-1. We were shocking and beat you that night, you are poor at the moment but with a new gaffer and some of your players arent that bad your bound to raise it for a derby, couple that with our main striker out and three injuries during play then a draw was always on the cards.

With Brian Little at the helm, I don't think Wrecsam will be down there at the end of the season.

They need to sort their defence out though! And get rid of their 'keeper.

We're probably not as good as out league position and you're probably not as bad, either that or you raised your game enough to take a point, if the latter is the case I'd be questioning the players attitude and commitment if I were a goat fan!!
