Heh, a friendly against New York Cosmos would've been quite the coup, although they only really seem to have been revived as a merchandising exercise. Good to know we're not leaving any stone unturned though.

2 more to leave after aspin and connolly who are talking to clubs, NY wants another midfielder, you have to fear for barnes.

Yes, necessary evil when rearranging games at such short notice. Pain in the backside to be honest, but the do had been booked in for months.

It's only through noting that bit about the Blues Bar that I've realised the match isn't away at Airbus. How times have changed smile.gif

Wouldn't it have been easier to play against Airbus on the Saturday then if the bar is gonna be shut? Hope there is beer inside the ground. Looking forward to the game.

Thats what I was thinking and think its a shame as was great player last year. Also thinking the other player might be Simm.

I think Simm will go, its shame because some of the players who will leave had great seasons and leave on good terms. Shows how far we have come I guess.

Don't think Simm will leave tbh. Very dangerous player when he's at his best and is a good impact player. Could see Barnes leave unfortunately, we would be light on the right if we lost Booth so have a feeling he is going nowhere.

That would be a bad move, stones can play all across back 4 and in middle of park, excellent utility player

I think NY likes Simm but with Wilde, Rainford, McNeil and Reed all competing for places, i think he might well try and move him on.

He hasnt looked anywhere near his best in the 2 pre season games so far and i think that could go against him. I could understand the decision, great pace and a willing worker but his first touch is dreadful.

I thought our squad was complete now, once the players transfer listed leave.

I have been really impressed with the chronicle in the last year, always but the paper now! bowdown.gif

Yes great to have some good reporters following the Blues these days and they can often to be found in the middle of the Chester fans living and breathing every emotion with us! bowdown.gif
