Very little fight as a team compared to East Thurrock who deserved to win and clearly wanted it a whole lot more. This is by no means the first time during the last 12 months either. It is simply not acceptable. Only a few players came out of this game with any credit. You would think our team had just stepped off the coach 5 minutes before kick off and not had an overnight stay.

We have been in freefall for the last 12 months. I see little sign that things are going to get any better on or off the pitch;indeed there are signs that things could get a whole lot worse. I dread to think how much money we continue to lose each month and how much of the rainy day fund is actually left.

It can't go on like this.

Gary Roberts did, although I have to say his sending off was not even a yellow, very very harsh by the ref that one

From the ref's accent,it was clear that his travel expenses would not be excessive and no surprise when we play down south that the referee, the aptly named Mr Rock, was unlikely to give Chester anything(the home team are of course called the Rocks).

Their guy did of course go down like he had been shot, before making a Lazarus like recovery, and Mr Rock simply couldn't get his red card out quick enough.

Back in the day,it was probably not even a booking, but it's fast becoming a no tackling sport.

A waste of time appealing. The Big 6 Football Association simply won't be interested. Clubs like Chester simply don't matter to them.
