We are away at AFC Fylde tomorrow night, which is going to be a very tough game. AFC Fylde are in a really good run of form and will be the favourites for this one, although we will be coming into this game on the back of an excellent win at Ebbsfleet. I’m gutted that I will be missing out on this match. I would’ve gone last month if Fylde hadn’t have been in the FA Cup. Mill Farm seems to be a very impressive facility. Hopefully the boys in blue can produce another good performance tomorrow night and maintain our unbeaten start to 2018. Come On City!
Score: AFC Fylde 1-0 Chester FC
Attendance: 1,374 (152 Chester)
COYB!

I’m really made up with a point at AFC Fylde tonight. It’s such a difficult place to go and it’s great to have held on for it. By the sounds of it, we put in another good shift, and worked very hard. Apart from Danny Rowe’s goal, our defence did really well to stop Fylde’s frontline from scoring and prevented quite a few chances. It seems as if our defence is becoming a much more solid unit now, with the fact that we haven’t conceded many in our last 3 games. Could Harry White be finally up and running now? I certainly hope so, as 2 goals in 2 games will do him the world of good.
So, we have played 3 games in 2018 (all away ironically) and haven’t been defeated so far. Their are positive signs now, and my hope is beginning to come back. I can’t wait for East Thurrock on Saturday in the cup. It would be great if we can make it 4 back-to-back away games unbeaten. Brilliant result tonight.
