Following on from yesterday’s draw, us and Hednesford Town will find out our potential opponents at 13:00 tomorrow afternoon as the Buildbase FA Trophy 2nd Round draw is set to take place live on TalkSport 2. The ties for this round will commence on Saturday 11th January which will be just after a hectic festive period. From this stage onwards the FA Trophy will be nationalised which means that anyone can play anyone from all over the country.

These are the teams that will be in tomorrow’s draw:
AFC Fylde
AFC Hornchurch
AFC Telford United or Leamington
Barnet
Bath City or Sholing
Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC or Halesowen Town
Carshalton Athletic or Aveley
Chelmsford City
Concord Rangers
Dorking Wanderers
Eastbourne Borough or Salisbury FC
Eastleigh
Ebbsfleet United
Farsley Celtic or Altrincham
FC Halifax Town
FC United Of Manchester
Harrogate Town
Hednesford Town or Chester FC
King’s Lynn Town
Kingstonian
Maidenhead United
Maidstone United
Matlock Town or Chorley
Notts County
Royston Town
Solihull Moors or Darlington
South Shields or Southport
Stockport County
Sutton United or Dagenham And Redbridge
Tonbridge Angels or Hampton And Richmond Borough
Torquay United
Yeovil Town

I fancy an away trip down South to somewhere like Torquay United or Yeovil Town, as you cannot beat a Southern away day! Newquay aside, it feels like ages since we last played a competitive game down there, and given there are more Southern clubs participating we have a decent chance of getting someone from down there. A home draw against somebody like Royston Town or AFC Hornchurch would be favourable too, but for me I’d prefer a long away trip. Of course we have to get the job done on Tuesday night first, as we don’t want to avoid what happened at home against Southport last season. If I was to give a prediction, then I will say that we will get a rock hard draw such as Harrogate Town away which would be a dismal draw. Any preferences/predictions?

Chester FC or Hednesford Town have been drawn away against Royston Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy 2nd Round today with the tie taking place on Saturday 11th January. Whoever wins tomorrow night’s match will prove who will be playing Royston. Pleasing draw in my opinion. A Southern away day and a decent chance of us progressing to the next round. With this incentive on offer we need to get the job done tomorrow then we can look forward to this.
