No, no, no.

Dear God, they are suggesting Gary Neville on the radio, Alan Pardew also mentioned.
Chris Waddle is saying I told you so, he's says it after every tournament that the structure of the game is wrong and needs changing from the bottom, and he's right of course.

Sad state of affairs but the England job is a poisoned chalice. Howe would be my choice but it could easily ruin his career.

Historically being England manager gets you seriously screwed over at some point - he's too young to put himself through that. Maybe in 10/15 years time, but he needs success at somewhere other than Bournemouth first.

Cannot believe people are touting Stuart Pearce. His management record is absolutely abysmal. Just because he stands on the side-lines shouting doesn’t make him a manager. Howe would be a decent shout but he is 38 very young in international management terms and hasn’t dealt with the obvious egos in the England squad at Bournemouth and Burnley. I would like to see how he does at a bigger club first. As for Gareth Southgate don’t make me laugh

But obviously not Stuart Pearce himself; hasn't covered himself in glory in
previous management roles.

Why does he ? The job he's done at Bournemouth has been fantastic, and to keep them in the premiership is a much harder job than getting England to a world Cup finals
from a group that consists of Scotland, Slovenia, Lithuania and Malta.

I don't get all this he's too young, or not got the experience argument - we've gone for experience and old heads in the past and where has it got us ? Time to stop appointing
safe choices, and be bold and bring in a fresh, young manager full of ambition, and a passion for the job.

To be fair I could get us out of that qualifying group and that’s not the aim is it? The aim is to do well in tournament football. I have nothing against Howe but yes lets take a massive gamble on a bloke who has had one decent season in the top division just because he cannot do any worse.
