QUOTE (Gizmo's Dad @ May 17 2017, 05:32 PM) *

For years the Conference authorities have been arguing that the most important thing is to achieve 3 (or even 4) up and down to the Football League.
How does this idea strengthen the case for more promotion places?
In my opinion the Conference Board should put their own house in order and take the moral high ground with the EFL.
The way to achieve this is to have 3 up and 3 down between Conference National and National North and South.
In addition, they should offer the 3 step 3 leagues (4 from August 2018) 3 up and 3 down to Conference North and South.
Once achieved this would leave the Conference/EFL relationship as the odd man out in the top 8 tiers of English football and more likely to change.

That would mean 6 teams going down from the Conference National every season though...ouch.

4 is fine, 6 would result in teams going up and down like yo-yos!
