I bought my Car insurance from Esure though confused.com and as well as getting a good price of £281, it raised £17.50 for CFU. The most I have raised in one transaction.

Brilliant. Looks like holidays and the insurance products are the items raising the most cash.

Well done Billy. Although you could've got £60 cashback by going through Quidco., kept £30 for yourself and given £30 to squad builder. tongue.gif

No, Ive just renewed with my existing insure because I couldn't find anything cheaper. But it does highlight the problem with easyfundraising. A choice of £17.50 to go to the football club or £60 to yourself. What to do?

Yes, it worked like that with my father in law, born in Liverpool, brought up in Peterborough but moved to Scotland in his twenties and considered himself Scottish.
Hasn't worked that way with me. I've been here nearly twenty years now, but I'm definitely still English!

For anyone going on holiday over the summer. If you buy your currency from Travelex (tend to be best exchange rate for most currencies) this is another easy / excellent way of raising funds for our football club.

Just got another excellent donation to the club. Bought all of my months protein through MaxiMuscle site as they are having a deadline day clearout. Got all of my usual order, which is normally £150.00 plus for just over £40.00 and got a 7% donation to CFU.

WIN WIN!!

Good work - You could benefit to the club even more by getting your protein directly from a Holland's Pie on Monday biggrin.gif

Just a reminder if you are buying Christmas presents online please do it through this website, then we will make more money for the club, we have already raised over £4000 and it costs us nothing, just a bit of effort

Don't forget to check through easyfundraising when buying all of your Xmas presents. I have only come across a couple of sites that are not represented on there and as the season of excessive spending is upon us; please take the time to check if you can make the CFU some money for not doing anything other than a couple of clicks of the mouse.

On a smaller note, just purchased something from argos and made 50p for the cfu, every penny counts all these pennies will add up and all it takes is a bit of effort.
Come on you christmas shoppers

Don't forget people if you are starting to think about buying your currency for Summer holidays, purchase through the Travelex website and contribute to CFU coffers.

I have just booked travel insurance for the family for the £30.00. I went through easyfundraising and raised £1.96.

There is now also an option for everyone to register your debit / credit cards through the site. There are more and more high street retailers coming on board all of the time and once your debit cards are registered, whenever you make a purchase at an affiliated shop it will automatically send a donation to CFU.

Not sure if that's a new feature or I've simply missed it before but takes seconds to register your cards and they only take the 16 digit number.

New total - 4920.79.
